Cage Table

The cage table view works like the mouse and litter table. You can sort and filter by column.

Cage Cost

Above the table, there is a gray badge showing the estimated cage cost for this month. It is calculated by multiplying the current number of cages by the cost of a cage per day by the number of days for the current month. The cost per day is set to 64 cents. It can be adjusted on the lab settings page.

When column filters are applied, the cage cost gets updated accordingly. For example, you can filter by project to view its cage cost as shown below.
